Everything you could want from an Irish pub.

A dear lady from the Cathedral told us that this is were you can get good food and “bang for your buck”. And oh goodness, was she right.

Great food (ask about the pie of the day and the sandwich of the day) and a wonderful atmosphere. The waiters even made suggestions on what to drink and places we need to visit in Ireland.

And dont just think its the tiny area up front. Explore, wander through. There is a lovely outdoor area at the back, all kinds of nooks and crannies on the inside and decor that makes you feel the Irish culture.

I am in love with this place.

Geoff's Cafe Bar was our very first lunch stop in Waterford, and it set the bar incredibly high! The food was absolutely fantastic, but what made the experience truly special was the service—it was doubly fantastic.

Our server, Ted, was extremely friendly, attentive, and welcoming. He really made us feel right at home.
Geoff's has a wonderfully casual feel with a fun atmosphere and a great overall vibe. It’s exactly the kind of spot you want to relax in.

Between the delicious food and the top-tier hospitality, Geoff's is an absolute gem. We are so glad we stopped here to kick off our time in the city.

Highly recommended!

I arrived in Waterford on a Tuesday night and found that the top rated traditional Irish pub was closing at 7pm when I arrived. They kindly recommended me to go to Geoff's which was a great choice. I enjoyed the pie of the day waited down with Guinness. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff helpful and relaxed. There were lots of nooks and places for couples, singles and larger parties. I occupied the 'throne', which was a cool experienceThe food was good pub standard, quick service good portion sizes. I was by myself but felt very at home and comfortable.
